Inspired by the historic Celtic calendar, this edition of the WJ Shirley Newsletter reflects on our journey from Beltane, a season of growth and opportunity, through Litha and into Lughnasadh, the first of the three harvest festivals.
Since our last issue, we have continued to strengthen the business, delivering professional services for our clients whilst also celebrating key milestones along the way. Our focus throughout this period has been on investing in our people through training, enhancing customer service and evolving our approach to asset management, helping clients move from reactive repairs to planned, preventative maintenance.
From opening new offices and expanding our fleet with brand-new vans to welcoming new team members, attending industry events and securing high-profile clients, we continue to build on the momentum established in 2025.
Traditionally associated with achievement, resilience and the rewards of hard work, the Lughnasadh season provides the perfect opportunity to reflect on the successes of the past season and look ahead to the next.

With our high number of engineer teams based nationwide and our growing operations department, we have the ability to work on a number of sites simultaneously whilst producing reports within a short time period.
This gives us the ability to work on large portfolios and meet handover deadlines when time is of the essence.
A Successful Trip to Leeds
UKREiiF 2026 was a great success for us.
We don’t often get to meet our clients in person so UKREiiF is the ideal opportunity to catch up with clients.
