Operations Coordinator
Location: Horncastle
Salary: £30-35k
Hours: Monday to Friday / 09.00-16.00 / 35hour
Holidays: 31 days including Bank holiday. Christmas closure.
About Us
WJ Shirley is the UK’s longest established and most prestigious independent drainage consultancy, having been in business for 97 years.
The company operates nationwide with the Head Office based in Lincolnshire. We offer a comprehensive range of drainage services including CCTV inspections, design, calculations, repairs, maintenance, consultancy and the installation of new drainage systems.
Our core clients include building consultancies, property management companies, fund managers, investors and various independent UK businesses.
We currently have 31 employees, 10 of which are based at the Head Office. Role Overview
Due to expansion we are looking to appoint a confident, highly professional, able and reliable individual to work with the Operations Director in the running of the operational side of the business. We are interested in the knowledge and experience you can bring to the business and expect your natural abilities to make an impact.
The job will entail
• Working in the Operations department of our Head Office near Horncastle, working with the wider team and reporting to our Operations Director.
• Collating information from diverse sources, processing it and writing technical reports that are accurate and easy to read.
• Producing job quotes and taking instructions from our blue chip clients.
• Managing the engineers’ diary and communicating with our field teams.
• Dealing with queries.
